Taming Winter

...or taming the wild cardinal..

Pushing the seasons/holidays to get in my store in time for google bots to find. Sorry to you who don't like snow.
Also, I'm working on a moon angel similar to this.

Technical jargon:
Reference used was this image [link] (warning: buttocks show) from =GentlemansClubStock , but I never could get her to look like she was sitting on the platform (tree stump thingie) I drew. She always looked like she was about to fall off or stooping down..argh.
So, I made her standing instead. And now her legs are too long, I think.
Then I decided to make the parrot a cardinal for the holiday, except with a fantasy look.
Finally, I didn't like her face either! That got changed, too.
Needless to say, the reference turned into a total make-over. But at least it gave me inspiration.
Everything drawn/painted from scratch.
